The alarm of more than 85 dB wakes you up even if you are sleeping very soundly. The detector is easy to mount with the supplied screws and includes batteries.
There is also a test button for periodic checks, a message when the battery needs to be replaced and a warning signal when the detector itself needs to be replaced.
